BANGOR, Maine — As Maine Democrats launch yet another chapter in their U.S. Senate campaign after weeks of political turmoil and an unprecedented nominee replacement process, the Collins for Senator campaign today released a new television and radio advertisement with a simple message:

While others have spent the summer consumed by political maneuvering, Senator Susan Collins has done what she has always done: focused on delivering results for Maine.
The new ad highlights Senator Collins’ record of leadership during some of the nation’s most consequential moments… from helping enact landmark national security reforms following the September 11th attacks, to authoring the Paycheck Protection Program that saved an estimated 250,000 Maine jobs during the pandemic, to protecting Maine’s lobster industry, strengthening access to health care, securing higher Social Security benefits for thousands of retirees, and ensuring Maine has an influential seat at the table as the state’s first Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman in nearly a century.
