Mainers gathered in Lisbon this weekend to celebrate the state’s official soft drink at the annual Moxie Festival, where the signature parade drew hundreds of spectators — and a number of political candidates.
Among those taking part in the parade was U.S. Sen. Susan Collins, who addressed the recent withdrawal of Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Graham Platner and the Maine Democratic Party’s proposal to hold a one-day convention to choose a replacement nominee.
