Federal funds are providing $12M to revitalize Maine’s old mill towns

U.S. Sen. Susan Collins announced $12 million in federal funding aimed at revitalizing former mill properties in Lincoln, East Millinocket and Lewiston. The funding targets redevelopment efforts at the former Lincoln Paper and Tissue site, the former Great Northern Paper Mill in East Millinocket and the Maine Mill site in Lewiston.
