The City of Auburn broke ground on a new public safety building Thursday. The new facility will serve as the headquarters of the police and fire departments.
Senator Susan Collins helped to secure $2.5 million in federal funding for the project. She says one of the state’s greatest needs is addressing aging public safety buildings.
