KITTERY, ME — Today, Senator Susan Collins launched her legendary “All of Maine” bus tour in Kittery. She was greeted by a crowd of supporters and delivered remarks in celebration of the start of her 2026 statewide tour, which will take her to all of Maine’s 16 counties before Election Day on November 3rd. She spoke with local residents, toured the historic Kittery Trading Post, and met the men and women who work there.
“I am so encouraged by the warm welcome my team and I received in Kittery this morning for the kick off of our All of Maine bus tour. Thank you to Kevin and Jen, their entire team at the Kittery Trading Post, and all the local residents who came out and made our first stop so memorable,” said Senator Collins. “Kittery Trading Post is a wonderful example of what family businesses mean to Maine. What started as a one-room gas station in 1938 by Kevin’s grandfather has grown over generations into an iconic Maine business. That’s exactly the kind of entrepreneurship and staying power we are celebrating on our statewide bus tour.”
This was the first stop of the 2026 All of Maine bus tour. During the tour, Senator Collins will visit small businesses, attend community events, and listen to Mainers from every corner of the state.
The bus now heads to Madawaska for the Acadian Festival.
