Welcome to the Students and Young Professionals for Collins website!

Our generation will have a huge impact in the upcoming election. Students and young professionals in their 20s and 30s, just like you and me, are becoming more involved politically than ever. We care about issues affecting our future, such as economic growth, long-term energy independence, and even issues that will affect us when we are our parents age, such as the future of Social Security. Senator Collins' time in the Senate has allowed her to develop thoughtful, long-term goals for each of these issues, and I encourage you to browse this website to learn more.

One of the reasons Senator Collins is so popular in Maine is that she has not forgotten her roots. She grew up in Aroostook County, where she learned the value of hard work. What most people don't know is that she has always made it a priority to travel home nearly every weekend, so she can listen to the concerns of Maine people, and then take their concerns back to Washington where she works to develop bipartisan solutions. We are lucky to have Susan Collins continue the Maine tradition of setting aside partisan politics, and working to do what is best for our state and country. If you look at her record, you'll see that she has done this time and time again. She is truly OUR Senator.
