Portland, Maine - U.S. Senator Susan Collins today released a pre-primary fundraising report that shows she continues to maintain a strong cash on hand advantage over Tom Allen, her nearest Democratic challenger. This announcement comes as the Collins for Senator campaign filed its pre-primary report, which shows that, as of May 21, 2008, Senator Collins has raised $304,485 this quarter, for a total of $5.832 million, and has a cash on hand total of $4.63 million.

"Senator Collins continues to work hard for the people of Maine, and she truly appreciates the overwhelming support she is receiving in her reelection campaign," said Elissa Davidson, campaign spokesperson.
